Intermediate Choir - Gold Choir

The Jefferson High School Gold Choir is a non-auditioned intermediate choir made up of 10th-12th grade sopranos and altos and 9th-12th grade tenors and basses. No auditions are required for this group - all are welcome and encouraged to join at any time! The choir meets each day with some outside of school hours also required. Students in Gold Chorus will gain knowledge of proper care for the voice, develop a working knowledge of musical terms and symbols, enhance music reading skills, demonstrate confidence and poise during public performance, and develop an awareness for the arts as a vital part of lifelong learning. Gold Chorus performs in three or four traditional concerts each year, as well as SDHSAA Large Group Contest.
