Aurora

Jefferson High School’s Aurora is a choir for 9th–12th grade sopranos and altos, meeting daily with some required commitments outside of school. Through learning and performing a wide variety of choral repertoire, students develop music literacy skills, an understanding of musical terms and notation, and proper vocal technique. They also gain confidence and poise in public performance while recognizing the arts as a vital part of lifelong learning. Aurora performs in three to four traditional concerts each year and participates in the SDHSAA Large Group Contest.​
