Beginning Choir - Green Choir

Jefferson High School Green Choir is a non-auditioned choir made up of 9th grade sopranos and altos. No auditions are required for this group - all are welcome and encouraged to join at any time! The choir meets each day with some outside of school hours also required. Students in Green Chorus will gain knowledge of proper care for the voice, develop a working knowledge of musical terms and symbols, enhance music reading skills, demonstrate confidence and poise during public performance, and develop an awareness for the arts as a vital part of lifelong learning. Green Chorus performs in three or four traditional concerts each year, as well as SDHSAA Large Group Contest.
