Independence

Independence is an advanced auditioned SSAA ensemble, recognized for their exceptional skill and artistry. Meeting daily, members refine their vocal technique, sight-reading abilities, and understanding of musical terms and notation while exploring a diverse repertoire spanning from the Renaissance to contemporary works, with an emphasis in Vocal Jazz and World Music. Through the study and performance of advanced choral music, students develop confidence, leadership, and a deep appreciation for the arts as a lifelong pursuit. Independence showcases its talent in multiple performances throughout the year, demonstrating both technical excellence and expressive artistry.
